A Day Off...
Well it's a day off after our first week of the season at work. And now that I'm working outside everyday, I must ask ~ where the hell did my nice warm weather go?!?!?! What the hell is this cold crap? Man oh man. It's my luck I tell ya. But what can you do? Aside from the colder temps, work has been going well this first week of the season. It almost seems as though I'd never stopped working on the boat. Ropes and steering and my interpretation all came back easy as pie! Life is good. And I've noticed a huge difference in the way I handle my interps for school groups since I've worked in California teaching at Camp. I'm a hell of a lot more in control of the group and no longer allow them to walk all over me. Thank god I learned how to deal with kids in CA...even if I did learn it the hard way. So things are off to a great start thus far! Here's hoping they only continue in that direction.
In other news, my phone is continuing to be a pain in the ass thanks to UPS, the most evil company other than Wal-Mart on the planet. They returned my hook-ups for my internet phone connection to the company because I wasn't home when they tried to deliever it all 3 times. Yeah, well what the hell? I happen to work during their delivery hours. Who the hell doesn't work during their delivery hours?! So they just frickin' sent it back to the company. Way to go! And so, I'm almost a month into my new place and still have no phone. It's getting a bit rediculous.
Oh, and I know I haven't sent out any new contact info yet...I've been waiting for the phone to get hooked up to do that. But I'll get it to you asap.
And, for those of you who noticed ~ I forgot to list my source of this weeks Sunday Quote Blogging. My appologies. That qoute was from Office Space. A great movie! I would whole-heartedly recommend it if you haven't already seen it.

WOW, the weird thing is that the postal service has a locker system at Oak Hill, and it should just go in a locker and the key placed in your mail box....I had that done all the time. Well, do they at least offer evening pick-up times? I remember that when we lived at Oak hill, we had to drive all the freaking way east on Door into the hood to pick stuff up - it sucked! Well, good luck - I might suggest asking the office if they would be willing to accept a package for you - then just leave a not on the door for UPS. I had to have that done once too.
Hooray for knowing how to handle kids!
Sorry about your phone thing. You could go my route and stick with just a cell phone.

Might try to come see you with the family on saturday, are you working the boat? Discount tickets perhaps?
I'm off this weekend...my only weekend off in May. Sorry. But hey, I could see if I can get you some passes or something if you still want to come out. I'm actually moving my dresser back to the 'rents that day...there's no room for it in the apt. Hmmm...Oh, Mom's ride free on Sunday for Mothers Day if you guys come out then. Let me know & I may come out too to see you. Saturday I have plans pretty much all day though. Sorry.
Nah, we were just gonna stop by to see you, not ride the boat. We're actually thinking of going to Cabelas in the morning instead - something about shoes John wants to get. We'll be leaving right after dinner to come back to Cleveland, so perhaps I can see you when Ella and I go to visit my parents at the end of the month. I'll keep you posted :)
