Birthday Blogging
Yesterday was my 26th birthday. Thanks to all of you who sent birthday greeting (via e-mail or post office) & to those who helped make it a great day!
Luckily for me, my birthday just happen to fall on a Monday - which is my traditional day off from work, so yeah for me! I spent the morning just lounging around the apartment in PJs. I cooked up a great breakfast with a fruit & yogurt dessert. Finally got changed into real clothes sometime around lunch. I wrote a couple of short letters. And had big intentions of getting out & about to do a little shopping. But ended up sending a long winded e-mail to one of my old roommies (Hi Tory!) and crashing out half awake on the couch for the afternoon. It was birthday - I was allowed to be a lazy lump of poo if I wanted to damn it!
Randy came over after work, with yet more goodies for my birthday! We went to dinner at the docks for some great Italian food. It dawned on me as we were waiting for our food that we had gone to the same place for dinner a couple months ago for Randy's birthday. Weird. Food was great, drinks were great, company was of course great. And our waitress provided some dinner entertainment.
So now I'm officially a year older. Woo Hoo. It was a great birthday though...thanks to everyone who helped make me feel special for a day! You guys rock!
As for the rest of my day today, I plan on taking it easy & writing some more letters. And if I ever get modivated maybe I'll go out & that shopping that never got done yesterday.

Oops, Happy Birthday!
Thanks...& don't worry about it...I can't expect everyone to know my birthday.
Good, because I had no idea either!
Happy belated birthday and stuff.
No biggie. Just because I'm dating one of your close friends...you can't know everyone's girlfriends birthdays! That's be insane! Thanks for the belated wishes though...both Neil & Adele! You both rock!
Hope you enjoyed your day :)
Ruth, I'm impressed; nobody writes letters anymore. Way to keep the written word alive!
Thanks Jannelle...what can I say, old habits dye hard. I've been writing letters to people since about 3rd grade...the recipients have changed a lot throughout the years, but I'm still a loyal customer of the good ole Post Office.
HAPPY MOMENTS,
HAPPY MEMORIES,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
WHEN TIMES ARE TROUBLE ... SMILE,

WHEN ASKED YOUR AGE ... LIE
YOU MAY BE TOO OLD TO BE YOUNG,
BUT YOU'RE STILL TOO YOUNG TO BE OLD.
