Back from Jersey!

Well I made it back from Jersey in one piece! The drive yesterday...well it sucked. It took far too long! I got to drive through some pretty crappy weather & traffic was really slow. So I did the safe thing & slowed down too. (Being responsible sucks sometimes.) But once I got past the bad weather (which only took about 4 1/2 hours) the drive was good. I stopped & had dinner in Strongsville with Shannon & Little Ella Bean. Food was awesome! As was the company!

Jersey was good. Wendy & I didn't really do a whole lot of much excitement. But it was great to just hang out & get caught up on life. NYC didn't happen due to lack of money & experience. I'll make it there someday. We had a good time though! The part of Jersey she's in was beautiful!!! And I got to drive through a town called Buttzyville! (*giggle * giggle*). Made me miss the mountains.

I must say though - it's great to be back!!! Back in my own apartment (even though it's a mess), back hanging out with Randy, & I hate to say it - but yes even back to work. The time off was nice, but I was sort of getting bored.

Now that I'm back, I have a few crazy busy days ahead of me. Tomorrow I have a long work day (which is good because I need the extra hours, especially during the holidays), followed by a volunteer appreciation dinner (also for work, but unpaid...but hey, it's free food for Randy & I so I'm not gonna argue with that.) Friday I have work, followed by volunteering at the Randy's museum for their holiday event. I get to wear puffy sleeves!! And Saturday I'll be helping with Anne & Neil's big move. By Sunday I'm sure I'll have a pile of laundry waiting to be done, but hopefully I'll spend a lot of the day relaxing as well...I'll need it by then I'm sure!

Sorry for the long post. As for now I'm headed for the shower & then the couch until bedtime. Hope all is well with everyone!
