What the?
This is really scary. Some so-called "Christians" apparently don't realize how much of a turn off this type of crap is to people. It doesn't make me want to rush out and go to the nearest place of worship if you know what I mean. In fact, it does the exact opposite - it makes me want to avoid religion altogether.

This has about as much to do with Christianity as the Klu Klux Klan. The problem is that otherwise reasonable people--Christian and non-Christian--have seen a group where no reasonable grouping exists--and they have decided to join one of these imaginary groups.
Jesus had no political agenda. Remember how the government killed him? He was performing the ultimate act of "love over government." My conception of a modern Jesus-person looks like anything but an SUV-driving suit-wearing politician. He looks more like those people in what the media would have others believe is the "non-Christian" camp. You know...one of those people who respect humanity and the earth and stuff.
Both churches I frequent have no political agenda--and when every congregation got political windshield gifts, they promptly distanced themselves from even having an agenda along political lines. It is hard to imagine how anything else would work.
Must be nice - I'm thinking that Jason's families church has a hidden agenda in there somewhere - I haven't heard it yet, but I wouldn't be shocked if I did.
Yeah, seems our leaders here have forgotten the constitution and the separation of Church and State. It's sad. There are so many people who live in our country who are not Christians and yet our "Christians" think that anyone who thinks different than them is going to hell or is a heathen. It's sad. One of the reasons this country was founded was for religious freedom. Now we are all expected to follow the so-called "Christian Conservatives".
