Procrastination Blogging

I've just started cleaning my apartment for the first time in at least a month and somehow I've ended up on the computer. Procrastination at it's best. The mass disorganization of my place is driving me crazy, but it's been such a crazy couple of weeks. I'd rather be lounging around on the couch with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate. I've promised myself that I will be allowed to do just that as soon as my apartment resembles an apartment again. Ho Hum...some days I have to force myself to be productive on my days off or nothing would get accomplished. At least I had the sense to turn the TV off - one less temptation to call me to the couch.

My busy week seems to be over. Driving back from Jersey on Tuesday, Volunteer Dinner for work on Thursday, Preview Night at the Museum on Friday, & helping with the finishing touches of the Berg move (I did more cleaning & moving boxes between rooms trying to form some semblance of space than I did actually "moving" but that's okay). All of the happenings went extremely well and I enjoyed myself at them all. But I am exhausted! I slept in this morning but my body wouldn't let me keep my eyes closed past 9am. Which was good because I beat the Sunday laundry mat rush. But perhaps I'll hit the pillow early this evening to make up for being up at a responsible time this morning.

Tonight I've got plans to grab some dinner with my friend Matt. I'm sure many stories await me! And I get the day off tomorrow too!! (Although I have to work this Saturday which means I can't go to Dave & Elizabeth's house warming party...boo. Figures - the one day I have to work a weekend this entire month. I guess I'll just have to send some cookies in my place.) Anyways, back to the cleaning.

Hey! You know that game where we (ok, I, since I'm the one most obsessed) figure out who would play you in the movie of life? I figured out who would be you, Ruth! (Happy dance in my chair)

You are...Claire Danes! Don't believe me? I ran across an entire photo gallery; she'd have to dye her hair, but I think it's a good fit.

What does everyone think?
