Rainy Day Moments

Still morning & I have a while before I have to be at work. It's raining again outside. And I must be honest - I love days like this. Provided I'm not out doing other things...such as working...days like this are the perfect days to curl up on the couch with a yummy pot of coffee (opps, I mean cup) and a book. A few lit candles around never hurts these days either. Oh well...work calls...or rather my rent and therefore my paycheck calls.

Tonight is movie night. Sal, I'm counting on a good time so don't disappoint. :0)

Talked to my boss yesterday & she's okay with taking me down to a 4 day work week. I just think it's stupid to drive 20 miles both ways to work a mere 5 hours. And she agrees. So hopefully starting next month I will be working job number 1 Wednesdays through Saturday. Have Sunday off. And ideally be working job number 2 (which I have yet to acquire) on Mondays and Tuesdays. I've done the 7 day work week between 2 (& even 3) jobs before & it sucks, so I'm trying to avoid that. Wish me luck on the hunt. It's time to get down, dirty & serious with it now.

In other news, it's raining & I get to be out working in it all day...how cool is that? Rain is often a sure fire way to get visitors into the park. They must somehow think that we're just like the movies or the mall...they won't get wet...it's a park...that means it's inside right? The capacity of people to be stupid never ceases to amaze.

I played Putt-Putt with a friend from work yesterday. We had a good time. I lost all 3 rounds, but I did get 3 Hole's in One! So it's all good. Well that's it for now...off to work it is. Later.
