Random Picture Blogging

Just a walk on the beach. Posted by Picasa

This pic is from that little day trip Randy & I took last month. I couldn't resist the urge to play in the lake and feel the sandy beach on my bare feet. Always a child at heart I guess. Take note of the whiteness of the feet & ankles. Scary isn't it? I don't think they've seen much sun in the past decade.

I had Sunday off of work for a change. (I had to work yesterday for the holiday instead...a trade off, but I'll take it.) Randy & I went for a yummy breakfast in the morning & then headed to his Dad's place for the day. We took Maggie to my parents place to ride a horse. She was really excited. It was cute. She did really darn well!!! She managed to ignore nervousness about how big the horse was and actually got it to do what she wanted it to on her own with no help from me. It was pretty cool.

There's not really a whole lot else going on right now. I've had the day off work today as well. And it's been pretty productive. I've done a bit of cleaning (although not a whole lot needed done), called & got my sinks fixed, did laundry, wrote a couple of letters, cooked a yummy lunch & did dishes. What can I say, my life is extremely exciting! I'm off for now. I think I'll head to the library and pick up a movie to watch tonight. I can't argue with free movies.

I'm so proud of you for keeping up on the blogging while the rest of us have barely posted at all lately....life is somewhat complicated lately. I envy your movie watching as I haven't had the time to rent or borrow anything lately (except for watching movies with J, which means they are most often movies I wouldn't normally watch). Anyhoo, will be posting something soon - I've been way too much of a slacker!

There isn't anything wrong with having white feet! I swear this summer and the summer past are the first two summers I had a tan. Mostly because I was in texas and I do believe the sun is hotter there. Keith always makes fun of me and my white skin, I say hey, I don't plan on getting skin cancer anytime soon.

Shannon ~ what can I say...I just like to talk...all the time. Blogging is my little way of saying random stuff about my life without forcing people to listen...you guys can choose to check in & read it or not. But I'm glad so many of you do read my rantings! :0)

And April~ Yeah, I hear ya on the skin cancer thing. I can thank 19th century clothing (for work, not pleasure) for my lack of harmful rays.

Elizabeth~ let me know when you & David are planning to come for a visit next...I'm sure we can arrange something. ;-)
